Traditional border plants, Daylily are sun-worshipers. Create beauty in graceful rows, and garden borders and defines facer plants and edges and gracefully partitions along pathways! As rugged for Rock gardens and hell strops along the sidewalk, driveway, or road, they are graceful as finishing touches as facer plants along foundation plantings and skirting large trees and shrubs.
Tough enough to add grace to Rock Gardens and mass plantings and as erosion control, for both commercial and residential sites! But elegant enough to accent rings around seating areas, birdbaths, outdoor sculptures, and urns. Daylilies are graceful fringe for encircling trees, pergolas, and gazebos with colorful greenery skirting their base!
Many people employ Daylilies by their driveways and roads, because of how tolerant they are to salt spray in the winter, and how wonderfully Xeric they are! Plus Daylilies are on many fire-wise landscaping lists.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Loving full sun and partial shade, Double Pardon Me is just radiant! Not particular on type, perennial Daylily thrives in all well-drained soils, though they appreciate a 3-4 inch layer of mulch to insulate the roots. With average moisture requirements, Daylilies can survive cold, salt, and drought, and are tough, hardy, and adaptable plants!
After the first round of bloom has finished, Deadhead the old flower stems as short as possible down to the ground for a second round of blooms later in summer or fall. In fall, it is recommended you remove the leaves after frost kills them back to the ground to avoid diseases and rust issues overwintering and spreading next year. Divide your clumps every 3-5 years to maintain vigor.
- Full Sun For The Most Blooms
- Moderate Moisture Needs - Low Once Established
