Quarts

A quart plant is a younger, starter-size version of the same variety you would find in our larger containers, grown in a pot that holds about a quart of soil. You get the same genetics and the same vigor in a size that is easier on the budget. Exact plant height varies by variety, so check each product page for details.

Add any 4 or more quart-container plants to your cart and 5% comes off those plants automatically. Reach 8 quarts and the discount steps up to 10%, and at 12 quarts you save 15%. There is no code to enter, and the cart shows your progress toward the next savings tier as you shop.

Yes! Every quart-container plant counts toward the same bundle, no matter the variety. Mix perennials, shrubs, herbs, and roses however you like. It works just like building your own flat at a local nursery, except it arrives at your door.

Quicker than you might think. Young plants transplant with less shock and put their energy into rooting in, so a well-sited quart often catches up to a larger transplant within a season or two. Give them the right spot, water them in well, and let them do what plants do best.

Each quart ships potted with its soil and root system intact, packed snugly in pairs per box so they arrive garden-ready. That efficient packing is exactly why bundles of 4, 8, or 12 make sense, for you and for the plants.

Spring and fall are ideal for most varieties, when milder weather lets roots establish before summer heat or winter cold. Check your USDA growing zone on each product page, and we will ship your plants at the right time for your area.
