Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Long-blooming pristine white flowers, the Buzz™ Ivory Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii 'Tobuivo') is an ornamental shrub with particular appeal to pollinators! You'll love this new and improved modern Buddleia cultivar for its space-saving, compact dwarf size!
From May until the first frost, this amazing Butterfly Bush will adorn your landscape with clusters of delicate, ivory blossoms. The long fragrant spikes extend up and out from the bush in a gently cascading fashion, creating the type of dramatic display that is sure to stop you in your tracks when you witness its exceptional beauty!
The Buzz™ collection of Buddleia also possesses a scintillating fragrance to draw you in for an even closer look. Standing next to this lovely bush is an enchanting experience as the butterflies flutter about and the hummingbirds buzz by on their way in for a tasty treat.
Buzz™ Ivory Butterfly Bush has an upright habit and semi-bushy nature full of gray-green aromatic foliage. Buzz™ Ivory is a shorter plant than other varieties and has a more compact nature. The strong branches do an excellent job holding the immense flowers upright and the bush is prolific, often producing flowers already in the first year.
Buzz™ Butterfly Bush has a full, bushy, branching habit that supports more flower heads. They stay shapely all season and are field-tested for many years to stay put where you plant them without self-seeding. Although Buzz™ Buddleia isn't invasive, some areas regulate the sale of Buddleia. We follow all the regulations to protect your local ecosystem with a software tool called Plant Sentry™.
How to Use Butterfly Bush in the Landscape
Plant a few of these lively shrubs in all of those small spaces where you can use a reliable splash of bright color all summer long...and even into fall! Mixing into Cottage gardens and Rock gardens as easily as formal landscaping beds, this dreamy white Buddleia will light up any sunny landscape!

Wind a row throughout a garden bed or along a path for a scented journey. Wake up a tired evergreen hedge with white blossoms, or add Buzz™ Ivory as a facer planting to hide the leggy stems of older shrubbery.

#ProPlantTips for Care
Growing best in full sun, so give her at least six hours of direct sunlight a day for those amazing carmine-red blooms! Plant Buddleias in well-drained soil, because they can't tolerate wet roots. If your soil stays soggy after rain, create a raised bed or plant in a container with plenty of drainage. We recommend that you supply a medium amount of water on a regular basis. This is especially important during the first season.
Apply a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch over the root system, pulling it back from the stems. In early spring, apply a fertilizer for flowering plants. Follow the directions on the label.
Buzz™ Ivory Butterfly Bush is adaptable to a variety of conditions and does well with pruning so you can shape it if you so desire. However, you'll rarely need to deadhead to keep the blooms returning until frost! Prune Butterfly Bush in late winter to the ground in cooler climates, and it will grow again from the crown in spring. But just trim back winter dieback in warmer climates.
- Sun Loving & Easy-Care
- Almost Any Well-Drained Soil Type
- Moderate to Low Moisture Needs
- Can Be Perennial In Cold Climates/Deciduous Shrub in Warm Winters
- Rarely Damaged by Deer or Rabbits
The Buzz™ Ivory Butterfly Bush is obviously an outstanding choice for someone who loves Butterfly Bushes but has simply never had the space for one! This dwarf variety from Nature Hills Nursery will fit almost anywhere and provide a delicate form and fragrance for your home. What an amazingly easy-to-own, and gorgeous plant for your yard this summer!
