Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping

Shipping

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.

Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

*If you have found your zone already, it will be highlighted in the table below.

At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. A dwarf Thuja that is perfectly round! Arborvitae are evergreens with one of the greatest ranges of size and form in the garden world. You might have seen them as 40-foot-tall windbreaks at your local shopping mall as an 8-foot-tall standard evergreen in your neighbor's foundation plantings, or even as low groundcovers.

But you have never seen Arborvitae quite like this! Introducing Anna's Magic Ball® Arborvitae PP#25,868 (Thuja occidentalis 'Anna Van Vloten') from Proven Winners®! A perfectly round ball of yellow-green foliage, this great little shrub is a powerhouse in the landscape!

Anna's Magic Ball® Arborvitae are cold-hardy throughout USDA planting zones 3 to 7 and stay small and manageable without any work.

Landscape Application:

Anna's Magic Ball® Arborvitae grows only 15 inches high, it is perfect for the front of the border, filling spaces in sparse foundation plantings, or along the fronts of older hedges that have gotten leggy over time. Use in place of Boxwood to define landscape beds, create low hedges that define your gardens, line pathways, or politely create division between the sidewalk and your front yard.

A bright little evergreen, it lights up your landscape year-round. It looks handsome through heat or snow and never requires pruning. The airy foliage looks great with other forms of Thuja or with round or strappy foliage around it. Instant year-round color in urns and containers on your front porch, back patio, or balcony gardens, Anna's Magic Ball® is perfect as the 'thriller' in a container planting!

  • Petite Round Dwarf Evergreens
  • Bright Yellow-Green Foliage
  • Small & Space-Saving Shrubs
  • Great In Containers
  • Tidy Edging, Facer Plants, Low Hedges & Property/Landscape Bed Definition

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Affinity grows the most compact and fast in full sun and well-drained soil. New trees need regular moisture to get established but become drought-tolerant once they have settled. All plants appreciate a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch around the roots. These shouldn't need pruning often but you can remove crossed branches, winter dieback, and wayward shoots in the spring after the first flush of new growth.

  • Full Sun
  • Well-Drained Soil
  • Moderate to Low Moisture Needs
  • Prune If Needed In Spring
  • Dwarf Easy-To-Grow Shrubs

Brighten up your tired landscape today with this wonderful shrub. The Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Anna's Magic Ball® Arborvitae are great shrubs that will sell out quickly, so order yours from NatureHills.com today!
