Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 3-8
Fluffy plumes of eye-catching pink candy will brighten your shady gardens. Also known as False Spirea, this Pink Astilbe (Astilbe x 'Verspink') is part of the new Younique™ series that boasts many amazing new features!
Better known as Astilbe, these wonderful feathery flowers have an early bloom time, increased flowers per plant, and improved disease resistance!
Butterflies and Hummingbirds will flock to the increased flower per plant and a 2 week earlier bloom time than other Astilbe varieties! The showy plumes have numerous panicles neatly held in tidy, eye-catching bunches.
Shorter and more compact Astilbe, these flowers have incredibly handsome, fern-like, dissected green foliage! Gorgeous dark, glossy green, and sturdy stems hold the elegant plumes aloft without staking. Younique™ Pink has a more compact, rounded growth habit and looks like filigree balls of dark green in the garden when not in bloom.
Floral designers will enjoy the plumes because they're just as handsome in a vase as in the garden! With the increased bloom productivity, your bouquets will be full of pink bubblegum-colored blossoms all spring and summer!
Hardy in heat and cold throughout USDA planting zones 3-8, Younique™ grows into a nice 12 - 15 inches in height when in bloom, with strong stems that hold the huge flowers aloft over dense lacy mounds of foliage that spread 15 - 18 inches wide!
Landscape Application:
Perfectly sized for squeezing into tight spots and smaller urban landscapes, Younique™ Pink False Spirea stays about a foot tall and just a bit wider. Their bold color makes up for their diminutive size!
Wonderfully proportioned for containers on shady patios and balconies, any shady pergola and arbor are lovely spots just begging for dazzling hues to enliven your outdoor living spaces. False Spirea won't mind being planted in the shade of large trees and conifers, even tolerating Walnut tree juglone!
The brilliant-colored blooms add contrast to shady areas as accent plants and specimen plants. Plus absolutely amazing when planted in groups, small and large. Any shady glen and sideyard will become a bright beacon instead of a dreary forgotten area!
Younique™ Pink Astilbe's pink flowers are wonderful assets to the butterfly and cutting garden, thanks to the prolific blooms, your pollinators and floral arrangements will never be lacking!
Shade gardens and mixed perennial borders are welcome settings for Astilbe. With the wide range of colors, shapes, and sizes, why not start an Astilbe collection and fill your shade borders with fluffy blooms and brilliant colors?

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Astilbe loves part shade/part sun locations, regular moisture, and mulched beds. They will tolerate a bit more sun in cooler climates and more shade in warmer areas. Growers on the lower end can plant Astilbe in some partial sun areas with afternoon shade when the summer sun is most intense.
Astilbe does the absolute best in loamy average soil. Also tolerant of clay as long as it is well-drained soil, Astilbe is great in slightly acidic conditions. Any organically rich, moist part shade garden site is perfect for these moisture-loving perennials.
False Spirea needs moisture. Doing their best in consistently well-watered areas and soil with high moisture retention. Easy to grow, as long as their ground does not dry out for long however, once established, False Spirea can tolerate a slight amount of drought stress.
Astilbe is resistant to both deer and rabbits, so plant these on the wooded and shaded edges of your property without worry of feeding damage. An herbaceous perennial, Astilbe does not stand up for too long after the first frost, but you should wait until early spring to prune back the mounds to clean and tidy the area in anticipation of spring growth.
