This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Buying Options for Plants
Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.
Ever wonder what a larger plant will mean for your landscape? Container Sizes are really all about the age of the plant!
Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.
- Popular sizes of select trees are 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, etc.
- Popular sizes of select bare root plants is 1 foot, 18 inches, etc.

The EverColor® series of sedge grass is known for its quality selection, so the arrival of the EverColor Everillo Sedge Grass (Carex oshimensis 'Everillo') should excite those familiar with the brand. Those who have not heard much about EverColor® should read on to understand what the big deal is!
This spectacular Sedge Grass is new to the game, but it sure does make a loud entrance! This evergreen groundcover sports neon lime green foliage that arches wide around its epicenter, giving a burst of color to any garden lucky to have some!
As the Grass ages, it slowly turns more and more golden which adds to its seasons of interest. It's hard for words to do this transformation justice, so we at Nature Hills highly recommend you pick one up and see for yourself!
One way to affect your plant's appearance is to regulate the amount of sunlight it receives through the seasons. More direct sunlight exposure tends to mean your Sedge will start to show off its amber hues much sooner.
The EverColor® Everillo Sedges boast a mounding growth habit, which means the growth is largely centered around the middle of the Sedge. As the Grass grows longer it will begin to arch out from its core and add dimension and texture to your garden space.
Landscape Application:
Due to its compact growth and root structure, the Everillo Sedge can grow either free-range in the garden or fit in different types of containers! The unique growth of this Sedge makes it a perfect fit for window box planters too! If used in planters, several of them can be placed spread through a balcony or porch border for a bright accenting plant that will pleasantly add ambiance to the space.
Several of these Sedge plants in sequence bring a vivid pop of color to borders! Use them as the edge of a flower bed for a green border marker, or align them with a walkway to bring attention to the start of a garden bed!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
The EverColor® Carex is going to be mighty thirsty when you first transplant this bright grass. Be sure to water regularly while it's getting established, then you should be able to tone it down to a weekly watering session.
This Sedge prefers partial shade to full shade and it can be susceptible to sun damage if left in full sun for long periods of time. If you start to notice signs of damage caused by excessive sun exposure you should consider replanting to more shady spots in your growing area.
The EverColor™ Everillo Carex tends to appreciate water more than your average Grass, so in an effort to preemptively assist in healthy growth, you need to pick the right soil. Moist, well-drained soils are the best for a healthy evergreen Grass such as this.
This Sedge Grass should hardly ever require pruning. If pruning is absolutely necessary try to wait until frost season is over to ensure the safety of your plant's vulnerable grow spots, but bear in mind that this grass takes a lot of time to regrow anything that was previously pruned.
This particular grass is fairly deer and pest resistant, but can still be prone to certain fungal problems. Be sure your growing area is well-circulated to prevent these issues from occurring
