Once established however these are partially drought tolerant, heat resistant, and shrug off high humidity when given ample moisture!

Being a herbaceous Perennial, Heuchera dies back to the ground in cold winters, though in warmer zones, can remain semi-fully evergreen year-round! Add a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch around the base of your plant. Deadhead after flowers fade, then remove any dead leaves each late winter or early spring to prevent fungal issues. Other than that, Heuchera are low-maintenance! Every few years, divide your clumps while dormant in the fall to maintain the clump's vigor.
