Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Whether you stay cozy in a tiny bungalow, fill an acreage, or rent an apartment or condo...enhance your landscape with delightful plants that work hard. Layer trees, shrubs, and perennials together to create long-lasting designer appeal.
Boulevard® Zara™ Clematis (Clematis 'Evipo062') is an elegant showstopper that fits beautifully in outdoor containers. This extra-special modern cultivar offers genteel geometric blooms.
Although it stays petite in size, Zara shines from early summer through fall with full-sized blooms in fetchingly pale lilac-blue. Overlapping sepals bring a lush look to each flower.
One of the celebrated Boulevard series hybridized by Raymond Evison, free-flowering Zara blooms and reblooms for months during the growing season. Butterflies adore the nectar, and you'll love the way they showcase your good taste.
It might look tender...but it's tough enough to thrive across a vast majority of the United States. You might consider it just for patio use...but it's exceptionally versatile.
This "Queen of Vines" stays pint-sized and compact. Zara makes a big visual impact without taking up much space.
There is a good reason why professional garden designers count on Zara's admirable ornamental qualities. After all, each periwinkle-blue flower can measure up to five inches across.
Pair them with all-white Boulevard® Kitty™Clematis for a subtle ombré effect. Keep them in French Blue glazed pots on your porch to welcome your guests in style.
Zara stretches and expands with leaf stems that wind along narrow supports less than a quarter of an inch in width. Cover the support structure with coated landscape wire first, before you plant Zara as a climbing plant.
You can plant it as a groundcover plant under "ho-hum" foundation shrubs. This is an easy way to create added modern curb appeal with an ethereal layer of cool color.
Maximize the outdoor spaces of your home. Order the incredible perennial Boulevard Zara Clematis, and gain a valuable landscape asset that will deliver for you year after year.
How to Use Boulevard® Zara™ Clematis in the Landscape
Create the perfect gift for Mother's Day! Purchase one or more Zaras to fill a custom outdoor container. These small vines make exceptional "Thrillers" around a centered tower or trellis.
They also look incredible when used as "Spiller" plants around a dramatic dark-foliage shrub like Tiny Wine® Ninebark. Plant them near the edge, and don't be surprised if Zara starts to climb the centerpiece.
No need to fret about damage. Zara Clematis can be safely allowed to grow up along the sides and tops of shrubs!
Try this trick to amplify the visual impact of mature evergreens. Plant Zara at the base of your foundation plantings as a gorgeous groundcover to cavort and grow as they will.
Add these luminous blooms to shine new life in your landscape. They'll be especially effective against a dark backdrop.
Plant in raised beds, using a dark trellis to showcase their star quality. Place several Easy Elegance® Snowdrift Rose in front, and you'll enjoy a lavish setting for entertaining.
No one needs to know how simple it is to grow these showy blooms. Get ready for the compliments!
#ProPlantTips for Care
Plant Volunteer Clematis where the foliage gets full sun, but their roots stay in partial shade. If you live in Zone 9, afternoon shade is best!
Clematis also need well-drained soil. They adore moist soil, but won't tolerate poorly drained soil, or standing water.
Our vining plant experts advise all Clematis be planted with Nature Hills Root Booster. This life-long support allows the feeder roots to access micronutrients from the soil; it never "wears out".
Zara Clematis needs a moderate amount of water on a regular basis to keep the soil moist...but not sopping wet. Add mulch to keep the roots cool, but please pull it back away from the crown.
In early spring, simply trim the dead growth down to six inches. Prune right above live budding stems at a 45-degree angle. Zara blooms on new growth from this season.
You'll never tire of the incredible display, which is good...considering they can live for 50 years with proper care. Order your Boulevard Zara Clematis today...you'll be thrilled with this sophisticated selection!
