Non-existent Service!!!

Plants I received are fine but did not get all I ordered and paid for. Can NOT get any response from phone calls/messages, emails and on line service is not working! I understand spring is the busy time but if you are selling products on line you should respond to emails or phone messages - it has been over 2 weeks and not a single response!

Miss Kim is a tough, reliable grower once she gets her roots established, so it is great to hear she hit the ground running for you. She will reward you with fragrant blooms each spring and just keeps filling in year after year. Thanks for the note, Tom.

Simply Gorgeous when bloomed

I have waited nearly 40 years to have blooming lilacs at my home. We have some that just don't bloom, but these Miss Kim Lilacs are beautiful and fragrant. We chose this Lilac and Nature Hills because my cousin recommended them and after seeing his Miss Kim, I knew that I just had to have one, or in our case three. Our Miss Kim Lilacs arrived robust and healthy plants. I look forward to having my favorite flower in full bloom, wafting their wonderful scent over our yard.

Hi there, thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review! We are thrilled to hear that your Miss Kim Lilacs are blooming beautifully. We are also happy to hear that you chose to purchase from Nature Hills based on your cousin's recommendation. We take great pride in providing robust and healthy plants to our customers. As for the gardening tip, we suggest pruning your lilacs right after they finish blooming to promote more vigorous growth.

Happy gardening!

Great plant

We have had these Miss Kim's for about 3 years now. We have 2 sets of 4 planted in front of Split rail Cedar fence sections. They are amazingly strong in our winter climate. We're considering 4 more.

Planting them along your split rail cedar fence sounds like such a charming design choice, and it’s great your garden has been rewarded by their resilience.

If you’re considering adding four more, you’ve got a lovely setup going, and more of these fragrant beauties will definitely enhance your outdoor space even further. Frequently Asked Questions

How big do miss kim lilacs get?

  • Miss Kim Lilacs typically reach 4-6 feet tall and wide at maturity, staying much more compact than Common Lilacs. This Korean variety grows slower and maintains a dense, rounded shape naturally. Plant in full sun for best blooming in zones 3-8.

How to prune miss kim lilac?

  • Q: How to prune miss kim lilac? Prune Miss Kim lilac immediately after flowering in late spring to avoid removing next year's buds. Remove spent blooms and any dead or crossing branches. Light pruning maintains her naturally rounded shape better than heavy cutting.

Is miss kim lilac deer resistant?

  • Miss Kim Lilac is not typically deer resistant, as deer will browse lilac foliage and flowers when other food sources are scarce. However, its compact size and urban tolerance make it easier to protect with fencing or deer repellent sprays during establishment.

How fast does miss kim lilac grow?

  • Miss Kim Lilac grows slower than common lilacs, reaching a compact mature size while maintaining a dense, rounded shape. This Korean variety is perfect for smaller spaces where you want lilac fragrance without the bulk. Plant in full sun for best blooming results.

Can lilac grow in shade?

  • Miss Kim Lilac needs full sun for best blooming performance. While lilacs can tolerate some light shade, flowering will be significantly reduced in anything less than 6 hours of direct sunlight. For maximum fragrant spring blooms, plant your Miss Kim in the sunniest spot available at naturehills.com.

Do miss kim lilacs lose their leaves in winter?

  • Miss Kim lilacs are deciduous shrubs that lose their leaves each winter. Hardy in zones 3-8, they display beautiful burgundy fall color before dropping their foliage for dormancy. Plant in full sun for best spring bloom performance.

Can Miss Kim Lilac be grown in containers or does it need to be planted in the ground?

  • Miss Kim Lilac's compact size makes it well-suited for container growing. This slower-growing shrub stays naturally dense and rounded, requiring less space than common lilacs. Choose a large container with drainage holes and use quality potting mix for best results.
