Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.
Standard Shipping Rates
At Nature Hills we handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the tables below. Our large-scale Annabelle Hydrangeas are a best-seller and have remained popular for many decades. You know the shrub we're talking about, with the huge, white, mop-head flowers that put on a huge show...and took up quite a lot of room.
If you are gardening in a small space, or simply want to edge your Annabelle with a more petite offering, here comes Hydrangea Invincibelle Wee White® (Hydrangea arborescens 'NCHA5' PP# 30,296). Imagine a showy Annabelle—now in a dwarf form.
Where could you use a small flower factory like this? With a little afternoon shade, the possibilities are nearly endless!
Although the size stays tightly compact, it forms large white flowers that start coming in early summer. Invincibelle Wee White continues to explode with new flowers continuously throughout the summer!
Like your local butterflies, you'll appreciate the flowers that appear on new growth over many months. Best of all, the stems are bred specifically to be strong, no more drooping flowers!
The blooms develop first as a soft pink, and age to white. You won't have to deadhead to enjoy blooms through frost.
Although, you'll certainly be tempted to snip them for elegant arrangements indoors. The dark leaves contrast so well as a showy filler to make the crisp, perfect blooms "pop" in your vase.
This Proven Winners® selection is a professional cultivar of a native shrub; and is widely adaptable across much of the United States. With proper care, Invincibelle Wee White Hydrangeas remain resistant to powdery mildew and tolerate extreme cold.
These durable shrubs are easy to grow and a wonderful choice for beginners to celebrate success. You can even grow them in clay soils!
No wonder this exceptional cutie won the coveted Direct Gardening Association Green Thumb award. Order your Wee White Hydrangea today!
How to Use Invincibelle Wee White® Hydrangea in the Landscape
Would a beautiful edging of Wee White Hydrangea running across the front of your home spice up the look of your foundation planting? Nothing could be easier!
Create low hedges by planting them 20 inches apart on center. You can also stagger a second row behind the first to pump up the visual impact.
Repeat this choice along your perennial borders for a long-lasting flowering display. Their soft hues partner beautifully with so many other choices.
Wee White Hydrangea can take up to six hours of sunlight a day. Add them to the southeast side of taller shrubs, or play their mounded texture off by pairing with strongly vertical Shenandoah Switch Grass.
Use them in a Moon Garden for a polished presentation after hours. Rest and relax after a busy day at the office with a lovely glass of wine and kick your shoes off, surveying the sparkle of reflected moonlight.
Be sure to include them in your cutting garden, and why not a backdrop to your vegetable garden too? Edible landscapes are so hot right now, and there is no reason that a long-lasting flowering plant like Wee White can't be included in with your edibles.
You'll certainly entice pollinators! Add a pert row at the edge of your backyard orchard to help boost your yields from fruiting trees.
On rented balconies, resize this look in a container garden. Place several Wee Whites in streamlined containers near your Improved Dwarf Meyer Lemon or Bearss Lime tree!
#ProPlantTips for Care
Plant them in full sun if you live north of Zone 5. They love part sun and afternoon shade, but do need at least six hours of sun a day for the sturdiest stems and most plentiful blossoms.
Ensure it has good air circulation, especially if you keep it in containers. Well-drained soil conditions will also keep this compact selection happy and healthy.
Hydrangeas like a shredded mulch around the base to retain moisture and keep the weeds at bay. Additional water will be beneficial during the drier periods, and produce the largest flowers and keep them coming.
It blooms on new wood, so prune these petite woody plants in early spring down to six inches. You'll fertilize in early spring with a formula for flowering plants.
We sell out of our limited inventory each year. Place your order for Wee White Hydrangea today, to avoid disappointment.
