To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills sells a large variety of plants with several options available. Plants are offered in both potted containers and as dormant bare root without soil. Here is a helpful resource to understand your options as you create a beautiful landscape with help from Nature Hills.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Proven Winners® Happy Face® Orange Potentilla PPAF (Potentilla fruticosa 'Minporoug01') is a spring-until-autumn flowering ornamental that is covered in big-petalled creamsicle orange blossoms early on with sporadic rebloom until frost touches your garden!
The bees smile at these flowers and butterflies can't help but grin! These Orange Potentillas add warmth to your sun gardens and planters because of their compact branching full of deeply lobed, small green leaves. The flowers keep their coloration without fading despite the sun and heat of summer.
Potentilla may look old-fashioned, but this cheerful Potentilla delivers a hardy, modern-day performance! It's tolerant of salt and coastal conditions, handles drought once established, and tolerates city pollution and urban environments.
Happy Face® Potentillas have larger flowers in more brilliant colors than other Potentillas and you'll enjoy a longer bloom time too! Incredibly cold-hardy, these deciduous shrubs thrive throughout USDA planting zones 2 to 7 and are disease and pest-resistant low-maintenance ornamentals shrubs!
Landscape Application:
Happy Face® is a great edging and groundcover shrub, growing 18-30 inches tall and 2-3 feet wide to create a low mound of fine-textured leaves that are smothered in cheerful orange blossoms. Add these happy faces to your foundation hedge as a bright facer plant, or brighten a dark evergreen privacy hedge as a front-of-the-garden edging!

Loving the full sun, Potentillas prefer moderately moist soil, but as they mature, they can adapt to dry soil very easily. A hardy deciduous plant, mildew resistant, low-maintenance, and does well in cold climates. It's tolerant of poor soils and urban environments. Plant in areas with good drainage, but Potentilla is not particular about soil and can tolerate a wide range of soil types.
Once established, this plant requires little water. Give new plants regular water during the first season, plus a layer of mulch over the soil surface. In extreme heat, we say that it's a good idea to protect your investment with a bit of supplemental water. Watch your plant for any sign of stress.
Prune after flowering to keep plants in featured areas looking manicured and neat. Cut them back hard in late winter when needed to rejuvenate them. When naturalized, it requires no pruning.
