The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

How to Use All Gold Japanese Forest Grass in the Landscape
Let All Gold Japanese Forest Grass add interest throughout your space. They make spectacular edging plants along the forefront of planting beds.
Use two of them flanking either side of your front door. Tuck one or more in out-of-the-way corners to create a destination spot. Add a garden bench and a special piece of garden art to complete the look.
If you are creating an Asian-style garden, place this selection next to large boulders. They'll become perfect visual partners and work together to tell an evocative tale of contrasting textures.
Plant these compact Ornamental Grasses in just about anywhere you want. It “pops” as a specimen, and looks gorgeous as a long row, drift, or mass planting.
For a solid row, plant them 12- 15 inches apart on center. You’ll measure from the center of one to the center of the next.
To fill the bare ground, create a mass planting. Add additional rows in a zigzagging planting pattern, then add mulch between plants until they grow together. Keep new mass plantings weeded.
For a sly touch, use a single specimen as a "Thriller" in a tall, rounded pot. It will look like an oversize face with a shaggy, blonde hairdo!
#ProPlantTips for Care
All Gold Japanese Forest Grass loves a spot in the shade. Only in Zone 5 should you attempt a full-sun placement.
It appreciates humus-rich soil that is well-drained and uniformly moist. In dry soils, be sure to mulch heavily and provide supplemental water for this special variety of Hakone Grass.
Cut back foliage in early spring, removing all but a few inches of last year's growth. You'll love watching the new growth emerge from the crown. Warm-season grasses may green up later in the spring, but really shine once the hot, dry summer weather kicks in!
All Gold Japanese Forest Grass Develops into a low mound of bright color, and a fun texture. It's sure to bring a smile to your face!
