Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-10
Thuja's are easy shrubs that add color and texture to any garden. Generally, very quick growers, the Proven Winners® Fluffy® Western Arborvitae PP#30,762 (Thuja plicata 'SMNTPGF') is no exception. What Fluffy® brings to the table that is different from other Thuja's is - just like its name says - fluffiness!
Fluffy®'s foliage is so feather-like that you just want to give it a big hug or pet it! The bright yellow-green foliage lends such great texture to the evergreen border that we can see this being the new go-to foundation plant.
Especially heat-tolerant, Fluffy® Western Arborvitae handles USDA planting zones 5 to 10, this evergreen shrub grows into a sizable 6 - 10 feet in height and 6 to 8 feet wide. Disease and pest-resistant, Arborvitae are wonderfully low-maintenance and easy to grow!
Landscape Application:
They are usually grown for their ability to quickly screen an area or fill up an empty space. Fluffy® works really well with dark-leaved companions like Smoke Trees and Chinese Fringe Flowers. It also is a great foil for darker green evergreens and Fir trees. Honestly, you can use Fluffy® just about anywhere and be happy with the results!
Fluffy® is very hardy and burn-resistant even though it has such bright, soft needles. It doesn't lose its color in the winter months, standing up to even blankets of snow! Plant banks and hedges for privacy and as windbreaks, or in groupings that shelter birds and wildlife.
- Fluffy, Yellow-Green Foliage
- Tall & Wide Fluffy Shrubs
- Naturally Pyramidal Form
- Very Easy To Grow & Adaptable
- Perfect For Hedges, Backdrops, Specimens & Privacy
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Easily grown in average, well-drained soil in full sun but handles part shade, especially in hotter climates. It tolerates a wide range of soils and prefers humid weather with regular rains. In hot and dry weather, periodic, deep waterings are advisable and a 3-4 inch deep layer of mulch maintains moisture consistency and insulates the root system. If you need to prune for shape, remove crossing branches, and winter dieback in the spring after the first flush of growth. Give these shrubs a good long drink before winter to help prevent windburn.
- Full Sun & Easy Care
- Well-Drained Soil
- Moderate Moisture Needs
- Prune If Needed In Spring
- Slow Growing, Won't Outgrow It's Space
