Perennial Daylily, provide it with partial shade or afternoon shade in the hottest climates, or full sun in cooler hardiness zones. Not particular on soil type, any well-drained medium works. Daylilies appreciate mulch to hold moisture in the soil. Average to dry soil these are extremely cold and drought tolerant, plus are tough and adaptable.
