To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

Your Spiraea would have been better named a Triple Play with its orange, yellow and pink blasts of color! As if the radiant foliage isn't enough, your Spiraea will also grace your yard with the largest flowers of any Spiraea you'll ever see! These big blooms will certainly draw loads of bees and butterflies your way!
Your Spiraea begins its dazzling display in the spring with orange-hued foliage, that transitions to lustrous yellow all summer long before returning to a golden orange for autumn. Giant clusters of blossoms will adorn your Spiraea with a burst of bright pink color in the spring, and last into mid-summer. It's a show-stopper to be sure!
Your Double Play Big Bang® Spirea will grow 2-3 feet tall with an equal spread. Overall, the Spiraea family is a great investment in an ornamental shrub that is incredibly cold-hardy in USDA growing zones 3-8. Spiraea shrubs are tough plants that tolerate nearly any condition full sun and partial shade location. Tolerating a wide range of soils and even urban environments. As long as it is well-drained and not soggy, these shrubs do fantastic in your landscape! Then, these shrubs are xeric and drought tolerant. But for the healthiest shrub provide regular moisture in times of need. Prune/Deadheading after the flowers have faded will encourage repeat blooming, but it's generally carefree.
