Put a feisty "pop" of spicy color in your garden beds and patio pots with Minature Salmon Sunblaze® Rose (Rosa 'Meishulo'). This compact selection from the House of Meilland® features tiny, lavish Roses with up to 40 petals and blooms in bright, bold colors from spring until fall. Snip a few blossoms for bouquets and you'll enjoy more blooms for your visiting pollinators!

Hardy and easy to grow, the pinkish-orange of their salmon-pink flowers is also easy to live with! Salmon Sunblaze® Rose can be partnered with many other colors in your garden to add a lot of sizzle to your composition. With a bushy, free-branching growth habit, these tiny Miniature Roses only grow 1-2 feet in height and width and are perfect for small-scale landscaping.

As you might expect, Sunblaze® Roses are adaptable and high-performance in hot climates, but they are cold-hardy, too! Glossy green foliage displays wonderful disease resistance and makes a wonderful foil for bright blooms.

Planting and Application:

Sun-loving Sunblaze® Roses to make a dynamic edging along your mixed shrub border. Hide the bare lower stems of "leggy" shrubs as a low facer plant border. These showy repeat bloomers look incredible against mature evergreens. Consider adding a row of them along your front walkway to easily improve the look of your foundation planting.

Proper spacing for these compact Roses is 15 inches apart on center. Measure from the center of one to the center of the next to allow for adequate air circulation, and stagger additional rows behind them in a zigzag to create a mass planting.

Use these smaller Roses in pollinator borders and cottage gardens to gain a cheerful little shrub. Tuck a row along the front of a garden bed as edging, or encircle a sculpture, urn, or other garden embellishments to further highlight them in your landscape!

Enjoy these delightful Salmon Sunblaze® Miniature Roses in garden containers for many years. Use several in a container garden for a lush look in oversized options, or keep a single plant in a 14-inch pot on your patio side table. Use their chic tone with orange flowers or pink flowers for a coordinated look. Or place them near blue or purple blooms for a welcome contrast!

  • Lavish Salmon-Pink Blooms
  • Disease Resistant Miniature Rose Bush
  • Easy-Care & Space Saving
  • Rounded Mounds of Green Foliage
  • Containers, Small-Scale Landscaping & Great Gift Plants

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Even though Salmon Sunblaze® Rose bush is petite, it's still a Rose and needs full sun and well-drained soil to do and look its best. Give them good air circulation and enriched, well-drained moist soil with supplemental moisture during the hot summer months. Roses also appreciate a 3-4 inch thick layer of arborist mulch over their entire root system. Rose Bush FAQs

Where Is The Best Place To Plant Rose Bushes?

Rose bushes need a protected location in full sun. Roses favor the drying power of the morning sun and flower best in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Choose a location in good, enriched soil that drains well and has good air circulation.

What Is The Best Month to Plant Roses?

You can plant Roses any time if you are able to provide enough consistent moisture and attention. While there is not a specific month that is best, generally because it changes with temperatures, climate and growing zone. However, the easiest times of the year to get Rose bushes established in your landscape are in spring after the last frost date, and in fall about 4-6 weeks before the first frost.
