#ProPlantTips for Care:
Mister Lincoln Hybrid Tea Rose has an upright form and is a vigorous grower. Mister Lincoln is tolerant of a variety of conditions and is generally a hardy Rose variety. Roses do best in full sun, with a touch of partial shade in the afternoons when planted in the hottest USDA hardiness zones. Roses prefer a highly fertile, organic soil that has great drainage. Plus, a generous layer of mulch over the root system surface to better regulate moisture levels and to best insulate the roots from heat and chill. Growing Hybrid Tea Roses in zones colder than zone 7 should be mounded with 8-12 inches of mulch in late fall for best overwintering.
Provide a consistently moist environment for your Rose to flourish, avoiding soggy conditions that can smother the roots. Fertilize 2-3 times a year with a Rose or blooming plant fertilizer to keep the blooms returning along with minimal deadheading. Prune in early spring before you see new growth, trimming your canes back to about 6-8 inches above the crown. This promotes a flush of new, even growth each year!
