Celebrate the best of life with the exceptional beauty and fragrance of Memorial Day™ Rose (Rosa 'WEKblunez'), hybridized by Rose expert Tom Carruth. Be stunned by over 50 ruffled, orchid-pink petals that have a showy lavender wash.

If you love strongly scented blooms, this heady choice is for you, with the marvelous Old Rose Damask fragrance. A single bloom reaches up to 5 inches across and will perfume your home! This reblooming modern Hybrid Tea offers near-continuous flowering from late spring through fall. Along with very double flowers, you'll surely appreciate the low thorns on the shoots, branches and long stems, as well as the rich green foliage!

Place Memorial Day™ Rose front and center in your landscape design, so you can study how the pointed buds spiral open from a high center into a moderately cupped form with reflexed, scalloped edges. The overall look is soft, feminine and demure - but the heat-tolerant performance is actually tough as nails! Hardy throughout USDA growing zones 5 to 10, these lovely rounded shrubs grow about 3-5 feet in height and a bit less in width.

Planting and Application:

These bushy, "unfussy" Hybrid Teas can even be mixed into garden beds. Butterflies will delight in the extended bloom time to gather nectar from the glorious flowers. Reblooming Memorial Day produces plenty of blooms to share, so snip them regularly for indoor arrangements! Anywhere you plant them becomes a Cutting Garden.

Style them as you like, from fanciful Cottage Gardens to casual contemporary. Plant several of these All-American Rose Selection winners in a mass planting to grace your landscape with their very full, spiraled blooms. Present one to a friend to commemorate a special person. Pot them up in a dressy outdoor container and add a pretty vase, sharp garden shears, and thick gloves for a very thoughtful memorial gift.

  • Soft Orchid-Pink Double Blooms
  • Large Hardy Hybrid Tea Roses
  • Handsome Green Foliage
  • Great Gifts, Cut Flowers & Pollinator-Magnets
  • Containers, Small-Scale Landscaping & Soothing Accents
