This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 4-8
Enjoy huge brilliant yellow flowers and ferny foliage with the sweet and petite dwarf Yarrow! If you need a small garden perennial that can take tough conditions and come out smiling, choose Little Moonshine Yarrow (Achillea x 'Moonshine')!
Even when they aren't in bloom, the finely textured, ferny aromatic foliage will delight your eye! Wide, flat flowers give Pollinators and butterflies a beautiful, fragrant platform to land on. You'll be amazed at how many "flying flowers" will visit these plants through the summer and fall!
These have been used by savvy gardeners for a millennium, since well before the Roman times. Mostly used as a medicinal plant, but now Yarrow are sought-after ornamental gems for hot and humid, sunny sites! Cold-hardy throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 8, these little plants grow only 9-12 inches tall and wide!
Planting and Application:
Little Moonshine is an excellent Rock garden plant and will give you a dense, full, continuous low border edging for hot, dry areas! Plant Little Moonshine along sunny pathways, sidewalks, and along the street for a bright yellow color all summer long! Yarrow are tough plants and can withstand xeric garden sites, Rock Gardens, and that tricky hell-strip along a road, sidewalk, pathway, or driveway! They are also an integral part of a fire-wise landscaping plan!
Bright yellow blooms brighten your path, so consider using these plants almost as 'directional signage' for garden visitors to follow. Hot sunny landscapes en masse or as single specimens, these brilliant bloomers light up your space with ease! Even pampered Cottage gardens and front yard berms will benefit from their brilliance and space-saving qualities!
Try planting these little perennial charmers at the edge of your garden beds to visually lead your friends and family to a special sculpture or bench. Enliven garden beds and landscape as front-of-the-border garden gems! Even smaller properties and sunny courtyards, sun-drenched patios and porches in both containers, planters, and in the ground!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Perennial Yarrow needs full sun to bloom and grow their very best! They tolerate hot and humid summers, and poor soil conditions and do best in lean, dry-to-average moisture settings in very well-drained soil. Water consistently through their first year, but once established, Yarrow won't need much except during extended drought. Top the root system with a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch.
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage a rebloom. It is recommended you divide these perennials every 3-4 years in the spring and prune your mounds back each year in early spring before you see new growth. Attractive to butterflies, but pest, disease, deer and rabbit resistant, Yarrow are rugged little garden gems with a carefree attitude!
- Performs in Heat & Full Sun
- Drought Tolerant & Tolerates Dry Rocky Soil
- Needs Well-Drained Sites
- Moderate to Low Moisture Needs Once Established
- Prune Early Spring
- Rabbits & Deer Resist This Cultivar
Little Moonshine Yarrow is Pretty, pretty, pretty! Space-saving and brilliant, you'll love filling your garden with these gorgeous little perennials! Now available at Nature Hills Nursery!
