Plant Sentry™

Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

The Lilac Maiden's Blush Lilac (Syringa X hyacinthiflora 'Maiden's Blush') is an early flowering, single-petalled variety of Lilac that ranges from light pink to medium-pink, to lavender-pink flowers. With a tendency to display many shades of pink to purple depending upon the age of the bloom!

This rounded, deciduous shrub has dark-green foliage that makes a lovely contrast against the light blooms. The heart-shaped leaves look lively and are the first to emerge in spring. Reddish flower buds burst out early and are amazingly fragrant, this Lilac delights you every year!

Maiden's Blush is one of the first lilacs to bloom and bloom it does! Prolific flowers burst onto the scene each spring, several days sooner than traditional Lilacs. It's no wonder this Lilac won the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. It is a good choice for attracting pollinators without attracting deer!

Planting and Application:

Maiden's Blush is a perfect accent shrub in any garden, back of a border, or in mass to create a flowering hedge. Reaching a height of up to 12 feet tall, these will certainly hide any unsightly view. A lovely row of fragrant blooms is sure to keep the peace between you and your neighbors! Create living rooms with these lush plants and create personal space within your garden.

A wonderful specimen shrub or addition to a mixed-shrub border and creates amazing privacy. The upright, open branching structure makes these amazing informal hedges and dramatic color throughout the growing season!

  • Award-Winning Multiple Lavender & Pink Shades
  • Traditional Fragrance
  • Heart-Shaped Leaves
  • One Of The First Lilacs to Bloom
  • Lovely Cut Flower & Pollinators Galore!

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Growing Lilacs is easy! Lilacs bloom best in full sun and has higher powdery mildew resistance than others! Cold-tolerant, these are USDA zones 2-8, Maiden's Blush is disease tolerant, though does need good air circulation. Prune Lilacs immediately after flowering and renewal prune by removing the fattest stems out to the ground leaving the thinner stems in place if the plants get too large.

  • Full Sun & Consistent Moisture
  • Seldom Bothered By Deer
  • Tolerates Harsh Cold
  • Prune Immediately After Flowering
  • Easy Care & Low Maintenance
