To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Seasonally, Nature Hills offers hand selected, high quality bare root trees, shrubs and perennials. Bare root plants are sold by height from the top of the root system to the top of the plant. Plants may be taller than the height minimums.

Karley Rose Fountain Grass (Pennisetum orientale 'Karley Rose') displays clouds of smoky rose-purple plumes which burst into color in June. New plumes are continuously displayed all summer long and gently sway in the slightest breeze.
The value of this long-lived and low-maintenance Fountain Grass comes from the varied colors and textures of the foliage as well as the striking pinkish-purple flower spikes. From earliest spring into the dead of winter, this grass offers an arresting display that complements flowering plants nearby while making an elegant statement on its own.
A cold-hardy replacement for Purple Fountain Grasses, Karley Rose tolerates USDA growing zones 5 to 9 as a perennial ornamental warm-season grass, but colder growing zones can enjoy this as a fast-growing annual accent too!

Karley Rose is a vigorous growing Ornamental Grass that looks spectacular when planted in masses! Shining in any sunny setting, this graceful flowing and arching perennial especially complements large combination planters! Planting in between perennials and shrubs is an excellent way to add a new dimension to the landscape!
Fantastic color throughout the sun garden as wonderful edging and fine-textured filler. Add pops of color to the Rock garden and in those hell strips along the roadside, add fringe along the driveway and pathways, and use a row or ring around a tree or sculpture as lovely facer plants! This plant thrives in full sun and very well-drained soil. Fountain Grass is a low moisture needs plant once established, Karley Rose is a good choice for busy gardeners because it requires little or no pruning, is resistant to most insects, and is drought-resistant as well! Clean the mounds in early spring. Warm-season grasses take their time to grow in the early spring but become vigorous once the temperatures are more to their liking.
