This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones 5-9
It's not often you can refer to an Ornamental Grass as "cute" or "adorable, but Burgundy Bunny Grass (Pennisetum 'Burgundy Bunny') is just that - in fact, it's absolutely darling! This warm-season Dwarf Fountain Grass is as adorable as it is riveting!
Burgundy Bunny Grass begins to take off in late spring to early summer. It darts upward in an attractive fountain shape. Its long, narrow blade standing upright, just barely arching outward. The outermost leaves gracefully kiss the ground, creating a stunning plume of sweet foliage.
Once mid to late summer hits, you can expect a show of fluffy silver flower spikes. These delightful plumes climb and dance. As its leaves turn from bright green to deep red in fall, these lovely flower spikes really pop! The Burgundy Bunny Grass's leaves transform from tip to base, slowly taking on more and more red. This gives you ample time to enjoy its bi-color glory, and once fully burgundy, this grass is all drama.
Planting and Application:
This cutie offers a bit more excitement for your landscape than many kinds of Grass out there! The neat and sweet grass variety forms a compact, dense clump that doesn't grow too tall. They of course add dramatic impact to the landscape when planted en masse!

Create lovely drifts and groupings throughout a prairie garden or in your cottage garden, mixing equally well among Roses, wildflowers, evergreens, and formal plantings alike! #ProPlantTips for Care:
Full sun is best for this little heat lover. Burgundy Bunny Dwarf Fountain Grass also thrives in partial shade and most well-drained soil types. Low moisture use once established, xeric little grasses do appreciate a drink during extended drought. Keep your Burgundy Bunny Grass neat and tidy by trimming it in winter if needed and dividing it in spring. This warm-season grass should be cut to the ground each year in late winter or early spring before it starts to grow, and can be divided if the clump gets too large at that time.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Low Moisture Needs Once Established
- Any Well-Drained Soil Type
- Divide Every 3-5 Years
