Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Grapevine Planting and Care
These are very easy-to-grow and adaptable Grapevines! Growing throughout USDA plant hardiness zones 5 to 9.
- Planting: Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Add Nature Hills Root Booster for optimal root development.
- Training: Use a trellis, arbor, or fence to train the vines for proper support and airflow. Prune during the dormant season to remove old wood and encourage new growth.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, especially during the first year and in dry periods.
- Pruning: Thin out the clusters if needed to allow the fruit to develop its full size and flavor. Annual pruning ensures healthy vines and maximizes fruit production.
- Disease Resistance: Lakemont is highly resistant to Botrytis and mildew, making it a low-maintenance choice for beginner gardeners and seasoned growers alike.
