Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones
The Dream Catcher® Smoky Rose® Switch Grass (Panicum virgatum 'Dream Catcher Smoky Rose') is a stunning native ornamental grass that brings soft color, motion, and texture to your garden from midsummer through winter. This warm-season perennial features upright, non-floppy blue-green foliage topped with rose-blushed flower plumes that sway gently in the breeze. The pink-tinged panicles emerge in mid to late summer, aging gracefully to a smoky tan that lasts well into winter, catching frost and snow like a dream!
Standing 3-4 feet tall and spreading 2-3 feet wide, this grass grows in a neat, vertical clump. The slender stems stay tidy and upright, even in strong winds or heavy rain, without staking. In the fall, its foliage transforms into a soft golden yellow, adding warm color to the autumn garden. The airy flower heads produce seeds that not only add texture but also feed small songbirds.
Native to the tallgrass prairies of North America, Switch Grass (sometimes spelled as one word Switchgrass) has been beloved for generations thanks to its resilience, adaptability, and beauty. The Smoky Rose® cultivar was selected for its more compact form and richly colored plumes.
