These Sweet Cherry Trees do best in USDA plant hardiness zones 6 to 9 and can grow to a slim 12-15 feet in width, but reach up to 25 feet in height. They can always be trimmed shorter or kept as low-branched fruiting shrubs as easily as they can be left as single-trunked full-sized trees!

Plant your Cherry Tree in full sun for the most flowers and fruit, in a well-drained enriched environment with ample moisture access. All plants appreciate some of Nature Hills Root Booster used during planting and top-dressed with 3-4 inches of arborist mulch chips. Fruit trees also need regular moisture access and scheduled fertilizer routines as well.

Coral Champagne Sweet Cherry trees are not self-pollinating and will need a pollination partner planted nearby. Bing Cherry and Brooks Sweet work well as pollinators, which the Coral Champagne pollinates in return! Other good pollinators for the Coral Champagne include the Black Tartarian, Rainier, Van Cherry, and Early Burlat.

When dormant in the late winter or early spring is the best time to prune your Cherry Tree, after fruiting works well for light pruning and shaping, but late winter is best for thinning. Ask the County Extension Office in your area for the best pruning times to prevent disease spread.
