Plant Sentry™
Plant Sentry is designed to protect both consumers and the nursery trade from invasive plant pests and diseases. Sites that display the Plant Sentry protection badge are protected from consumers buying and nurseries shipping material carrying invasive pests and diseases.
This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones annual in all growing zones
Love Rosemary herbs for crafts, floral design and cooking? Then you’ll adore the Cascading Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis 'CascadingRosemary') in your garden collection this year and every year afterward! This variety is an incredibly intensely fragrant, broad-leaved culinary Rosemary.
Featuring gorgeous grey-green foliage, unlike traditional Rosemary, this is a creeping, cascading and compact grower! Forming carpets and mats that ramble and spillover garden edges and container sides in a romantic manner. Swap out those Garden Pinks or Sedum for a flavorful herb that’s romantic, aromatic, tasty and a versatile ornamental!
Rosemary has lovely summer blossoms that are a gorgeous lavender-blue hue! Smothering the plant with incredible contrast to the soft blue-green spiny needles. These attractive flowers are not just fragrant and irresistible to bees and butterflies, but they’re edible too!
Planting and Application:
Cascading Rosemary loves drier conditions and very well-drained soil, so it’s perfect for forgetful gardeners and Rock garden conditions! Use in sunny garden beds and borders as edging, dripping over walls or rocks, or let creep through the cracks and crevices of retaining walls and over the sides of planters. Call pollinators to any part of your property with these blossoms!
An excellent landscape plant for, in rock gardens, mass planting, groundcover, and perfect in kitchen gardens and containers on your patio. Plant with other plants for a delightful filler and spiller and herb planter addition. Not just pretty, but it is also great for flavoring soups, hot and cold dishes and garnishes! You can also dry the stems for crafts or later use.
- Creeping Cascading Growth
- Blue-Green Highly Aromatic Foliage
- Edible & Ornamental, Crafts & Décor
- Bluish Summer Blooms
- Vital for Pollinators
#ProPlantTips for Care:
Rosemary loves more Mediterranean environments - hot, sunny and on the drier side. Plant in a well-drained site, or container with great drainage holes. Once established, these thrive in low moisture and occasional drought. Rosemary is annual in colder zones or can be brought indoors for the winter. It’s a perennial in warmer climates, and in fact, it can grow large with age!
- Full Sun
- Sharply-Drained Enriched Soil
- Low to Moderate Moisture Once Established
- Prune Back in Early Spring if Needed
- Woody Perennial in Zones 8-11
Full of flavor, rich in color, and pleasing to the senses, Cascading Rosemary is a gorgeous form of a favorite garden herb! Order this and other unique herb plants for your garden or porch containers today from NatureHills.com!
