How to Use Gibraltar Bush Clover in the Landscape
Add interest and fine texture to your hot, dry areas. Plant these delightful plants in a mass planting to spread together and touch.
Stabilize your sloping ground with a gorgeous planting...it's far safer than trying to mow it! Plant them three feet apart on center, staggering a second row behind them for a quick fill.
Use in your mixed borders. They partner well with Prairie-style perennials, who also require full sun and well-drained soil.
For a modern look, you can rely solely on single-species plantings of these durable flowering plants. They can be outlined in Boxwood for a fresh take on traditional, as well.
These nitrogen-fixing plants improve your soil and bring beneficial nectar to pollinators. If you have an annual veggie garden, use them nearby to support your "Second Planting" of the season.
Try a row of Gibraltar Bush Clover along your property line, or to decorate a fenceline, let them cascade over rocks or over the tops of a terraced hillside.
Use them on the sunny side of mature evergreen trees and shrubs to enliven their looks. They'll also soften the top of retaining walls with easy charm.
#ProPlantTips for Care
Give this sun-lover at least six hours of full sunlight a day. It's adaptive to a variety of conditions, but does need soils that drain quickly after a rainfall.
For the first year, pay close attention to watering. They will be establishing their roots into your soil at that time, and need consistent moisture.
Cut them back to the ground in early spring. Gibraltar blooms on new wood, so cutting it back to the ground not only presents a clean appearance for winter but also encourages new growth in spring.
Make the most out of your property investment. Create a handsome, hard-working space for you, your family, and your friends to enjoy. Order Gibraltar Bush Clover today at NatureHills.com!
