The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.

Delivery and Shipping
Shipping
To obtain a more accurate shipment time-frame, simply enter your zip code in the “Find Your Growing Zone” box to the right. Our plants are grown all over the country and lead time on items may be different because of this. Once your order is placed, you will also receive the specific shipment time-frame information as part of your order confirmation. Once an item ships, you will receive shipment notification and tracking numbers, so you can follow along while your plant travels to your doorstep. We use FedEx, UPS, or USPS at our discretion.
Due to winter weather we have put a hold on shipping to the areas shown below in grey. You can still order now and we will ship the plant to you during an appropriate time for your zone.

Growing Zones
Baby Blue® Spruce (Picea pungens var, glauca 'Baby Blue') adds luxurious color and stand out curb appeal year-round! Featuring powder baby blue needles, this incredible evergreen tree is just what your property needs to draw songbirds, and add shade and privacy while growing into a knock-out hue that just lights up the landscape!
Spruce are fantastic ornamental evergreens with incredibly glaucous needles in ethereal baby blue! Shipped with their branching close to the ground and a nice straight, single trunk, these pyramidal trees look like frosted Christmas trees from an early age. Nature Hills ships mature root systems to ensure your plant gets established fast!
Baby Blue® is cold hardy down to USDA hardiness zone 3 and tolerates heat up through zone 8. These evergreens can reach a mature height of 35-45 feet tall and spread to a neat and tidy 15-20 feet tall, so no worry about one taking up the majority of your property! These are no slouch when it comes to growth rate either, featuring a medium rate of growth once established.
Planting and Application:
Baby Blue® Spruce grows slightly more narrow than others of the species, and can be a bit variable in size based upon the growing conditions. These lovely specimen trees add year-round interest, and soothing blue hues and look as fantastic in the summer surrounded by green foliage and summer flowers as they do when dusted with snow! They dampen sound and wind and are dense enough to keep prying eyes at bay.
Add a Spruce focal point or accent tree in your front yard landscaping for a formal pyramidal outline and clean lines. Great in lines and zig-zags for privacy, or in groupings that create wildlife habitat and screening! An interesting colored evergreen to include in your windbreaks or shelterbelts because of its extreme hardiness and durability.
You can pair these blue trees with nearly any color in the landscape, setting off hot and warm colors and complementing blues, purples and other cool colors. These seem to glow in the moonlight so include Baby Blue® in your Moon Garden!
