#ProPlantTips for Care:
Arizona Apricot Gaillardia grows vigorously to a 12-inch tall and wide herbaceous perennial mound. Thriving in average to low fertility and almost any type of well-drained soil. Doing their very best in full sun only. Tolerant to dry soils and drought once established, Blanket Flower does not do well in heavy clay soils. Gaillardia self-seeds, so deadhead after the blooms fade is recommended, and to encourage new blooms in profusion! Prune back in late fall once the foliage begins to yellow.
- Absolutely Loves the Sun
- Low to Average Soil Moisture
- Well-Drained Average Soil
- Deadhead to Prevent Reseed & Encourage More Blooms
- Prune Back Late Fall
- Easy-Care, Adaptable, Drought-Tolerant, Deer & Rabbit Resistant
