Also known as Peacock Lily or Abyssinian Gladiolus, these pretty blossoms appear in the late summer and can last until fall! Gladiolus family plants grow strongest and have the best flowering display in full sun in cooler growing zones but appreciate afternoon shade in hot climates. Any well-drained soil location works well and these bulbs appreciate moderate yet regular moisture access and mulched beds.

Plant these corms in the spring about 5-6 inches deep, and plant your corms pointy side up about 5-6 inches apart. Groupings and rows have the biggest effect and impact on your garden. There is no worry about Deer and rabbits nibbling your plants either because very little bothers these beauties!
