Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

#ProPlantTips For Care
Doing very best in full sun, Huron Sunrise tolerates some shade but won't be as strong and upright, possibly even falling flat. It will grow in almost any soil, from loose sand to heavy clay. Miscanthus is easy to grow and is a good choice for beginners. Adaptable to salt, drought and it's impressively hardy, tolerant, and resistant! Deer and rabbits rarely bother it.
An urban tolerant warm-season grass, Huron Sunrise won't start growing until the soil temperature warms up so have a bit of patience. Prune before growth starts to appear in early spring and remove built-up leaves and debris from the center.
- Full Sun & Partial Shade
- Grows Anywhere, Even in Wet Soil
- Plant in Well-Drained Soil
- Adaptable To a Wide-Range of Conditions
- Prune Early Spring
