Arrived with great care and packaging

Arrived with great care and packaging. Planted right away. Seem to be doing very well. Can’t wait to watch them grow bigger and bloom.

Kintzley's Ghost is such a rewarding vine to grow. Those silvery-blue bracts are unlike anything else in the garden, and once it gets established you will have plenty to look forward to. Thanks for the kind words about the packaging, Terry. Happy growing!

The vine was well packaged and that was good because it looked like it had been dropped or roughly

The vine was well packaged and that was good because it looked like it had been dropped or roughly handled. The vine was healthy with only a few wilted parts. It is a great size and has been planted. I looks so nice and I can't wait to watch it grow!

Kintzley's Ghost is such a rewarding vine to watch fill in over time, and it sounds like it settled into the ground in good shape despite the rough ride. We're glad the packaging did its job. If any of those wilted sections don't bounce back after a few weeks of establishment, our support team is happy to take a look. Thanks for planting with us, Holly.

The Kingsley plant is doing great in my garden

The Kingsley plant is doing great in my garden. I lost my original bush to a tornado in March. Glad you had the same bush to order. They are beautiful bushes. Also very fast shipping and well packed. Thanks so much, Chris

Losing a plant to a tornado is rough, and we're glad we could help you fill that spot back in, Chris. Kintzley's Ghost is such a standout vine with those silvery-blue bracts, so it's good to hear yours is settling in well. It tends to take off quickly once established, so you should have a full, healthy plant before long. Thanks for the kind words about the packing and shipping too.

The packaging on my plant was amazing

The packaging on my plant was amazing. Unfortunately there were several broken branches on it. I planted it the day after I received the plant. Now I’m watching for new growth.

A REAL BEAUTY!

This plant arrived on 9-15-19. I was unable to plant it in another pot until my move was completed on 10-11-19. As soon as I arrived in my new home I planted it in a pot I had on hand for now. To my surprise, it went crazzzy! I’ll let the picture speak for itself. This growth is just since then! Definitely buy this beauty!

Arrived healthy in a well

Arrived healthy in a well packaged box Pleasantly surprised how large a plant. Doing well in bright light in a southeast location along a fence. Has new growth and a few red berries since arriving in early September. Hoping it will survive the winter in good condition. Looking forward to it climbing to the top of the trellis. Very happy!!

Dear Janet,

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with your new plant! We're delighted to hear it arrived healthy and in excellent condition—and that it’s thriving in a bright southeast spot by your fence. It’s fantastic that you’re already seeing new growth and those lovely red berries. Climbers like yours can indeed bring lush vertical beauty as they reach the top of a trellis.

As winter approaches, to help your plant stay healthy, you might consider adding some mulch around the base to insulate the roots and protect it from harsh temperatures. If your area experiences very cold winters, a light frost protection or moving it to a more sheltered spot can also make a difference. Feel free to reach out if you’d like detailed tips based on your specific plant variety or winter zone—our team is always happy to help you keep your green friends thriving year-round.

Thank you again for trusting NatureHills.com with your gardening journey. We’re rooting for your continued success!

Frequently Asked Questions

How large does Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle vine get at maturity?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle typically reaches 10-15 feet in length at maturity. This vigorous vine will readily climb structures or can be trained along fences and arbors. Plan for adequate support and allow 6-8 feet of width for optimal growth and display of its unique silvery bracts.

What are the sunlight requirements for Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle thrives in full sun to partial shade conditions. This unique vine performs best with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily to maximize its distinctive silvery bracts and flower production. Shop at Nature Hills for this rare heirloom variety.

Does Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle require pruning?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle requires minimal pruning since the silvery bracts provide winter interest well into the season. Light pruning in late winter or early spring will maintain shape and encourage new growth. Avoid heavy pruning to preserve the unique bract display that makes this vine so distinctive.

How do I care for Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle after planting, including watering needs?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle is drought-tolerant once established and requires minimal maintenance. Water regularly the first year, then only during extended dry periods. Provide support for climbing and prune lightly in late winter if needed to maintain shape.

Is Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle cold hardy in zone 4?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle is hardy in zones 4-9, making it reliable for cold climates. This unique hybrid survives harsh winters while producing its distinctive silvery bracts that persist through the season. Shop at Nature Hills for this rare variety.

How is Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle shipped, and what size are the plants?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle typically ships as a young potted plant ready for transplanting. These vigorous vines establish quickly and will begin showing their distinctive silvery bracts within the first growing season. Plant in spring after frost danger passes for best establishment.

Will Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle grow well in containers?

  • Kintzley's Ghost Honeysuckle adapts well to container growing with proper support for its vining habit. Choose a large container (at least 20 gallons) and provide a sturdy trellis or obelisk. Use well-draining potting mix and expect the same spectacular silvery bracts and fall berries as garden-planted vines.
