Forming touseled mounds of curly, ribbon-like leaves, these mounds of showy greenery spreads into small clumps about 2 feet wide at maturity. Growing just 12-18 inches tall, small summer flowers are not overly ornamental, and these plants are grown mainly for their impressive foliage.
The Ribbon Falls Sedge can be evergreen in warm areas of the country, in cooler climates of USDA planting zones 5 to 9 will see these grasses grow as perennials that return every spring. Growing 12 - 18 inches tall and spreading 18 - 24 inches wide at maturity.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
This Grass-like ornamental thrives in a variety of conditions, from full sun to shade! This Sedge loves rich soils with good moisture for the best growth possible! If needed, use a general-purpose fertilizer during the growing season. A layer of mulch around the base of the Sedge is a great idea to help maintain moisture during drier seasons.
We suggest cutting off the seed heads for a cleaner effect. In late winter or early spring, trim off any damaged foliage or individual leaves before it starts growing again. Evergreen plants can simply have any dead foliage get raked out of the plant in the early spring.
