Cherry Laurel has been used worldwide since the Middle Ages. Colonialists in the fledgling United States also used these shrubs to edge property borders! Many of which are native to the US or hardy new cultivars that handle USDA planting zones 5 to 10.
There are currently eighty known varieties of Laurel bushes, and they sport glossy deep green foliage of Laurel hedges that show off spectacular contrast to the profuse white or pink blooms in the summer months.
