Description
Sweet Daisy™ Izabel Shasta Daisy is a cheerful, compact perennial that brightens the garden with masses of semi-double yellow flowers featuring warm golden centers from early to late summer. The blooms open a rich, bright yellow and mature to a soft creamy yellow as the season progresses, creating an ever-changing display of warm, sunny color. At just 8–12 inches tall and wide, this fast-growing Shasta Daisy is perfectly scaled for the front of borders, containers, and cottage-style garden designs.
- Semi-double yellow daisy flowers with golden centers, sunny and cheerful all summer
- Blooms shift from rich yellow to soft creamy yellow as they mature
- Compact, fast-growing habit, 8–12 in. tall and wide, ideal for front-of-border
- Excellent cut flower, brings summer sunshine indoors
- Attracts butterflies and is deer resistant
- Dark, serrated green foliage remains attractive all season
- Hardy in Zones 5–9
Sweet Daisy™ Izabel Shasta Daisy thrives in full sun to part shade with average to moist, well-drained, fertile soil. It does not tolerate standing water, especially in winter, so good drainage is essential. Water regularly during the growing season to maintain even moisture. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering; cut stems back to about 12 inches after the main bloom period to promote reblooming. This low-maintenance perennial is an easy and reliable performer in borders, containers, and cutting gardens. Plant a mass for a bold sweep of summer color and add to your garden today!
