Torenia Catalina Midnight Blue, Torenia Catalina® Midnight Blue PPAF, starts blooming early and blooms through the fall. Midnight Blue is a deep blue color with yellow throated blooms.

The unique trailing/mounding habit makes this a great choice for both hanging baskets and planters. Torenia is another choice for part shade locations.

Torenia Catalina Midnight Blue is a heat and shade tolerant plant that has a snapdragon-like flower all season. It is low maintenance and dead heading is not necessary.

Blooms have shades of periwinkle and deep cobalt blue with a yellow throat, so intermingles well with other plants to fill in the middle ground of a combination. This plant can be a perennial in zones 9-11. In zones 3-8 it is an annual only.
