Colocasia loves rich, moist soil, and has the best coloration in full sun or part shade. Provide regular moisture and a well-drained organic location for best results. Easy care and hardy perennial in zones 8-11 however colder zones will not miss out! Gardeners in zones 3-7 may overwinter the corms indoors covered with dry peat moss or wood shavings. Dig up the corms after the leaves have been dried by frost. Place in a warm, dark and dry place with a temperature no higher than 50-60°F.
