Clematis Blue Light, Clematis 'Vanso', is an exceptional Clematis that boasts fully double 5-6" flowers of violet blue.

Blue Light Clematis is an exceptionally free flowering variety and a nice compact grower. Perfect size for an impressive container planting! Enjoy the blooms in late spring through early summer and then again from late summer until fall!

Clematis Blue Light, needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs and over walls.

Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply a generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine.

Blue Light Clamatis is a very good performer once established and they take a season or two to get going. Prune this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems.
