Haven’t had a reason to use yet as in southern MI we’ve had way too much rain

Haven’t had a reason to use yet as in southern MI we’ve had way too much rain. The last three days alone my rain gage showed 1 1/2 inches two days ago with 1 inch last night. So have it a 3 star because don’t know if it’ll help yet ir not.

So useful for keeping baby tree watered

I think this is such a useful tool. I have planted two trees that later died because I simply could not keep them watered enough. With the donut, I do not have to worry that any water I try to give the tree is just going to run off into the grass. The soil stays moist under the donut and I only have to fill it every three days or so. I ordered three more since I have other young trees that are struggling, especially my banana trees.

Losing trees to underwatering after putting in all that effort to plant them is genuinely discouraging, so it's good to hear the donut is solving that problem for you. Slow, consistent moisture right at the root zone makes a real difference for young trees trying to establish, and every three days is a solid rhythm for most conditions. Banana trees can be especially thirsty in warm weather, so those extra donuts should help them settle in well. Thanks for coming back for more, Stacy, and best of luck with your whole grove.
