Looks healthy

It's growing and standing tall. But I cut several large encircling roots to avoid future trouble. Pot may have been a little small for the height. We'll see!

Just Beautiful

I put the Sargents Crabtree in a corner bed. I wanted something that would be pretty but not too big. It is perfect! The color, the flowers and the amount of birds it attracts - just wow.

Unique Crabapple

This is a really different crabapple. The leaves are dark green and have an almost lacy look. I'm very happy to have found this tree, everybody asks about it.

Sargents Crabtree did great it's first year.

I ordered this tree in the fall of 2006, and it showed up on schedule in December. I live in SE Virginia (zone 7, almost 8). It is now spring 2009 and this liitle tree went from a 3' "twig" as my daughter called it to a 6' tree in it's first year. Yes, it's still twiglike, but it doubled in size. This spring it is leafing out so healthy. I'm really looking forward to having this tree for years to come.
