plants are nice large specimens

Ordered four of these. The size is what you would expect for a 3 gallon pot. These are nice large plants. UPS listed them at 23 pounds.
They are not multiple plants in one pot, but one large plant. That has not been trimmed into a cone shape, but naturally grown into that shape the cranberry creek boxwood is known for.
Of the four boxes shipped to me. three boxes were very damaged and only one plant suffered from that damage. This is why I still give it five stars. This is not a seller issue but a UPS handling issue.
The plants are healthy nice large specimens.

Beautiful!.

I have bought 6 of them. Two of them took longer for delivery so they had burnt leaves. I am still nursing them.
But the newest are beautiful. Thank you

Great plant

This was a great deal for this size boxwood. The plant was somewhat dried out, but finally had a good soaking rain and it perked right up and looks great now.

Exceptional plants

Other than the fact that the carrier turned them upside down and broke the very tops out, they were both beautiful. Much larger than any other company I have bought from and very healthy. The price was excellent too. Bought because Linda Vater on YouTube recommended.

Arrived early! Boxed nicely!

Arrived quickly. Bushes were pot bound but otherwise in good shape. Surviving well in my borders with supplemental watering as a nice accent piece!

Huge boxwood cone. Great deal. YAY!

It's big, bushy and very healthy . The only reason I did not give it five starts was because it was root bound. But I cut it out of the pot, trimmed the roots and repotted it in a larger container. I am waiting for an overcast day to prune. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. Price point was crazy cheap.

More tape on boxes to prevent damage to plant.

I am mostly happy with my plant except one of the boxes was broken open and retapped by someone. The tips of the top branches were broken on one of the plants. I purchased two plants. Upon reading the literature enclosed the plants are rated for zone 5 - 8. I live in zone 9B. I don’t know how to contact someone to see if plants will survive in my zone in central Florida. Otherwise I am pleased with the plants in their appearance.

They arrived quickly and in great shape!

What a value for the price! Saw these hilighted on a gardening show of Linda Vater's. They arrived early and in great shape.
The same plants were priced significantly more at local places for the same size and in much better shape. Very pleased.

Is Cranberry Creek Boxwood deer and rabbit resistant?

  • Cranberry Creek Boxwood is deer-resistant but not specifically noted as rabbit-resistant. This tough evergreen is rarely bothered by deer, making it reliable for wildlife-prone gardens in zones 5-8. For best protection, plant away from known rabbit paths and shop at Nature Hills for healthy specimens.

Does Cranberry Creek Boxwood need much fertilizer or maintenance?

  • Cranberry Creek Boxwood is low-maintenance and thrives in zones 5-8 with minimal care. This adaptable evergreen doesn't require heavy fertilizing. A light application of balanced fertilizer in early spring is sufficient to maintain its natural 2-3 foot pyramidal shape.

Can Cranberry Creek Boxwood be pruned to maintain a narrower width?

  • Yes, Cranberry Creek Boxwood responds well to pruning and can be maintained at a narrower width than its natural 2-3 feet. This adaptable shrub tolerates regular shearing and can even be shaped into formal topiaries. Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins for best results.

Can Cranberry Creek Boxwood be grown in containers?

  • Yes, Cranberry Creek Boxwood thrives in containers and stays compact at 2-3 feet tall and wide. It's perfect for patios, porches, and balconies in zones 5-8. Use single specimens as accents or pair them to frame entryways. Shop at Nature Hills for this versatile container shrub.

What is the current size of the Cranberry Creek Boxwood plant being shipped?

  • Cranberry Creek Boxwood ships as a young nursery plant, typically 6-12 inches tall in a container. The mature size reaches 2-3 feet in both height and width over several years. Plant in zones 5-8 and allow 2-3 growing seasons to see its distinctive pyramidal shape develop.
