Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes

Multi Color Latifolium are darling Grape Hyacinths (Muscari 'Latifolium') and are diminutive fragrant powerhouses that prove good things come in small packages! These cheerful little clusters of bubble-like bells fill the short spires with scented florets. A deep blue on the bottom two-thirds, the top third of these dainty blossoms become a lighter lavender blue!
Local pollinators and early-arriving hummingbirds adore Latifolium Muscaris scented clusters of bell-shaped flowers in pale blue-purple that rise above densely bunched sprays of arching green foliage. Naturalizing and spreading, these lovelies create tidy bunches. And that's good for your pollinators and for your bouquets!
All just in compact 6-12 inch tall clumps of adorable flowering bulbs! Each small low-maintenance bulb produces a single bloom but quickly forms groupings and polite colonies of multiple bulbs! Latifolium Grape Hyacinths are very cold-hardy throughout USDA growing zones 3 to 9 and are wonderful spring-flowering ephemerals!

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Muscaris are easy to grow! They like early spring rains and water when the skies don't open up. While these bloom best in full sun, planting them under trees can be a great idea as the bulbs will bloom before the trees leaf out. Then, once the blooming is done, the shade of the trees can protect the bulb's foliage, giving the bulb more energy for next year's stunning blossoms! Fall-planted bulbs need well-drained soil with moderate moisture needs. Any soil type is suitable so long as it is not soggy and add bulb fertilizer to each hole for best results. Their blooms last for weeks and they naturalize and spread over time unless you deadhead after the flowers fade.
