Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements
Container Plant Sizes
Container sizes indicate plant age and growing capacity rather than liquid volume equivalents. Our containers follow industry-standard nursery "trade gallon" specifications, which differ from standard liquid gallon measurements.

#ProPlantTips for Care:
Plant perennial Coreopsis in full sun or afternoon shade, in about any kind of well-drained soil. Tolerant of clay to sandy conditions, provide regular water throughout the first year in the ground and during extreme drought conditions, but once established Coreopsis can be quite hardy and xeric!
Also known as Tickseed, deadheading will keep the blooms pumping out through fall unless you want them to reseed, which they will happily do for you! Clean mounds in the early spring before new growth emerges. You can divide your plants every few years to maintain their vigor and spread their super color further in your landscape!
- Loves Full Sun
- Well-Drained Soil & Tolerates Poor to Sandy Soil
- Moderate to Low Moisture Needs
- Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Clean Mounds In Spring
- Easy To Care For Perennials
- Deer & Rabbits Seldom Bother These
Bold heroic yellow blooms, the Sunshine Superman Tickseed Coreopsis will save the day in your landscape this year! Hurry and order yours today at NatureHills.com!
