Understanding Plant Options
Nature Hills offers plants in two main formats:
- Container Plants: Grown in pots with soil, sized by container volume and plant age
- Bare Root Plants: Dormant plants without soil, sized by height measurements

They retain good color throughout the growing season, thriving throughout USDA planting zones 4 to 9! Plus, the fall seed heads are filled with nutritious food for songbirds!

#ProPlantTips for Care
Ligularia are resilient herbaceous perennials and can grow into large-scale plants up to 4 feet tall when in bloom and 4 feet wide! These plants should be planted in part sun/partial shade in a well-drained area, but keep the soil moist to wet. It should never be allowed to dry out! Apply a 3-4 inch deep layer of arborist mulch to keep moisture in the soil better.
- Best In Partial Shade
- Moderate to High Moisture
- Well-Drained Rich Organic Soil
- Deadhead After Flowers Fade & Prune Mounds In Fall
