This single row of generous petals are cupped and seem to protect the pompom of golden anthers that are dolloped into the centers of each bloom!
The Oslo Peonies' silky petals are a favorite for the bees and butterflies that will love exploring these gorgeous flowers! Standing in dense clumps of lush greenery on sturdy yet shorter stems, Oslo is sure to supply you will plenty of cut flowers for bouquets! The coral-salmon hue doesn't fade in the sun or heat, nor do these blooms balk at the cold!
Growing just 24 inches tall and about as wide at maturity, these Peonies grow fast and bloom after a year or two in the ground (or pot rather!). Wonderfully cold-hardy and durable throughout USDA growing zones 3 through 8, these flowering rhizomes have thick, fleshy roots with several 'eyes' each.

This hardy perennial grows from tough rhizomes and is well-known as a long-lived plant! Provide a full sun location with well-drained soil, that also has good air circulation. Provide regular yet moderate moisture while first establishing, but then, these rhizomes are drought tolerant. Deadhead after bloom and cut the foliage down after it yellows. Ensure containers have ample drainage and winter protection from the worst of the winter's chills.
