Waiting to give my review

My tree was delivered broken in two places. I responded to the email and got no answer. I called several times and got no answer. But 5 days later I received an email saying my replacement tree was on the way. They even told me how I might be able to save the first broken tree. They will respond and make things right, but it does take a while. Thank you NatureHills.

Reliance vs. Redhaven

My Reliance just gave its first crop. These peaches were larger, more colorful, and just as tasty as the Redhaven. They ripened about 7 to 10 days earlier. I am pleased to have extended my peach-eating season.

Hello Mitey John,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with your Reliance peach tree! We’re delighted to hear that its first crop not only met but exceeded your expectations, especially with its larger size, vibrant color, and delicious taste. It’s wonderful that the earlier ripening allowed you to enjoy fresh peaches even sooner and extend your peach season—there’s truly nothing like homegrown fruit.

If you’re looking to keep the Reliance tree healthy and productive for many seasons to come, we recommend ensuring it receives full sun, plenty of water as the fruit develops, and regular fertilization in early spring. Pruning each winter will also help maintain good fruit size and quality. Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for Reliance Peach Trees to bear fruit?

  • Nature Hills Nursery sells fruit trees with mature root systems that are already three to four years old, so you’ll enjoy fruit sooner than you would with younger trees! Expect a young peach tree to begin fruiting by the 3rd year after you plant it.

How Fast Do Reliance Peach Trees Grow?

  • Be sure to plant your peach in a sunny and well-drained location. Once your Reliance (Prunus persica 'Reliance') has been established (after the first year), it can typically add 12-18 inches of new growth in a growing season. If your plants are adding less than that in a season, it may be worth your while to check the fertility level.

Where do Reliance Peach Trees Grow Best?

  • Peach trees grow best in well-drained, fertile soil in at least 6 hours of full sun per day or more.

Do You Need 2 Peach Trees to Produce Fruit?

  • All peach trees are self-fertile, however planting more than one peach tree that blooms at about the same time, boosts yields on both trees and extends your harvest time!
