The White Meidiland® Rose (Rosa 'MEIcoublan') is a hardy Groundcover Rose that dazzles with abundant clusters of large 4-inch, very double, white flowers! Produced all season long, they stand out against the handsome, glossy dark foliage that covers the compact and densely branched stems! You'll enjoy how this plant looks full throughout the entire growing season!

The flower clusters are as lovely in a vase as they are decorating your garden! Pollinators adore these full blossoms and will be fluttering about all season! Low and spreading, Meidiland® Groundcover Roses are pure flower power! Spreading 3 - 5 feet in width but creeping along only 1-2 feet tall, it's like a carpet of living white snow for your garden!

The White Meidiland® Rose may die back in winter but will grow and flower from new canes each spring! Very hardy throughout USDA growing zones 4 to 9, there's little these tough plants can't handle as long as they are in the sun and in well-drained soil.

Planting and Application:

Pair with other Groundcover Roses for multi-hued borders or skirt around a Rose Tree for a unique garden presentation! Low enough to be a defining low hedge, mass these gorgeous bushes around your landscape as visual and thorny barriers without sacrificing space.

Groundcover Roses do well on slopes and banks making a tough-to-mow hillside transform into a gleaming highlight to your property! Fantastic edging and facer plants, add the finishing touch along garden edges and hide the bare leggy stems of larger shrubs and the bases of trees with lush white frills. Let these lovelies cascade over the tops of retaining walls or over planter edges as spillers that are filled in divine blooms.

  • Dainty Clusters of Pure White Blooms All Season!
  • Dark Green Foliage & Low But Wide Spreading Growth
  • Pot in Containers & Planters as Spillers & Fillers
  • Borders & Edging, Groundcover, Mass Plantings & Rock Gardens
  • Slopes, Banks, Retaining Walls & Low Hedges

#ProPlantTips for Care

This Rose has its own root. The advantage of Roses grown on their own roots is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the Rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered Rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Plant in any full sun location with adequate moisture and enriched, well-drained soil. Lay 3-4 inches of mulch around the entire root system for a happy plant!

This Rose generally does not need much pruning. But if pruning is needed, do it in late winter to early spring.

Read all you need about pruning Roses, winterizing Roses, and un-wintering Roses in spring in our #ProPlantTips Garden Blog! It is also disease and insect-resistant so you'll worry less over this tough, low-growing gem!

  • Full Sun
  • Regular Moisture & Fertility
  • Enriched, Well-Drained Organic Soil
  • Prune Early Spring
  • Appreciates Mulched Beds
  • Highly Disease Resistant!

Gleaming white, frilly clusters of the White Meidiland® Groundcover Rose will add that special low-growing touch to your gardens and borders! So be sure to order enough for your next project today at NatureHills.com!
