With blue blooms that point upward, instead of down, showy Rapido Blue Carpathian Bellflower (Campanula carpatica 'Rapido Blue') is a tiny star in the landscape. These beautiful perennial plants are used by garden designers to dazzle their clients!
Starting in late spring, Rapido Blue's tight buds open into calm, clear blue bell-shaped blooms. Some call this shade "indigo" and it's absolutely stunning.
This variety gets started earlier than other Bellflowers. It doesn't quit, either. You'll have months of blue flowers at the front of your garden bed or in your containers. Their dark green foliage looks great, even after the flowers are finished for the season.
Put them in a prominent place, where you'll see their showy display. Butterflies are certainly drawn to these pretty plants. They attract hummingbirds, too.
Rapido Blue Carpathian Bellflower gives your yard a decorator touch without fuss or muss. They are hardy and grow across the United States. They can be used in full sun in Northern climates, but need a cool, sheltered spot in the afternoon further South.
That's right, they'll flower in partial shade! This is a reason to celebrate, as there aren't too many other options out there.

How to Use Rapido Blue Carpathian Bellflower in the Landscape
Unwind in your space with beautiful, blue-toned plants. Nature Hills is happy to offer such a wide array of these rare and wonderful trees, shrubs and perennials.
Add the showy, bell-shaped blooms of tiny Rapido White Carpathian Bellflower on the east or west side of your Blue Arrow Juniper, Blue Chinese Wisteria tree, or Baker's Blue Colorado Spruce.
They'll give you a long-lasting display from late spring through late summer. Use them to complement Blue Girl Rose, and our Endless Summer Twist-n-Shout Hydrangea.
The clear, violet-blue blossoms are wide-open, pure and simple. You'll love the look, and butterflies and hummingbirds love the nectar. Add them, along with Bluebeard and Baptisia, to a special Butterfly Garden.
This soft shade of blue also partners with lovely pinks, peaches and purples. The dark green color matches some of the complementary yellow tones of Black Eyed Susan.
Create a beautiful landscape with these small, tidy plants. Use them along the edge of your borders, or add them as a "Filler" in your exterior containers.
For an unforgettable garden feature, repeat their use in a massed planting. Space them four inches apart, and they'll grow together to create a "river" of color.
Kids love these cool-toned Fairy flowers, too. Let your fanciful side come out with these beautiful plants.
#ProPlantTips for Care
Give them regular water, and at least four hours of sunlight a day for best flowering. Bellflowers do require sharply drained soil. Grow them in a raised bed or container, if you have heavy or clay soil that retains water.
Spend a few moments each week deadheading the spent blooms for a tidy look. You'll extend the season of bloom with this simple task. We call that "worth it!"
Trim back the foliage in early spring. You'll have a fresh start for the growing season.
People adore the clear blue hue of Rapido Blue Carpathian Bellflower. Add them to your landscape design this season.
