#ProPlantTips for Care:

While this ravishing Rose Tree looks fussy - it's anything but! All it needs is a protected winter location in full sun, regular deep waterings, and well-drained soil. To help the Oh My!™ fill out and maintain its shape, trim it in early spring. For optimum flowering and disease resistance, plant in areas with good air circulation. Be sure to add a 3-4 inch layer of arborist mulch to retain moisture. Deadhead the flowers as they finish and your plant will develop more flowers faster.

Rose Tree Care & Pruning

Some winter protection for Tree Form Roses is suggested for the colder zones 5 and 6 and some of zone 7 too by overwintering in an unheated garage after it goes dormant, or outside with straw and burlap wrap. Then in spring, take it back out or unwrap and trim the head back to about a 12" sphere just as it begins to grow again in spring.

Early each spring, after the last frost of the year has passed, it's always a good idea to prune back the Rose tree several inches to maintain the nice round form atop its trunk. Keep new blooms returning with occasional deadheading, quickly improving your overall display.

Prune away suckers and branching that forms at the base or on the trunk each year too. Pruning Roses allows for better, bushier growth each year and stimulates new growth.
