If you see it in stock on the site, order yours now. As you can imagine, we have a hard time keeping this highly desirable tree in inventory.

Be amazed at the powerful profusion of blooms on this interesting, rare, weeping form of a gorgeous, small ornamental tree. Celebrate the beauty of the Marley's Pink Parasol's nodding, waxy, bell-shaped flowers hanging down from red calyxes each spring.

The display is unbeatable around late-May into mid-June, depending on where you live. Few ornamental flowering trees can match the impact of this delicate flower power.

The leaves are more elongated and wider than other Japanese Snowbells. They are dark green and shiny, really the perfect background for the flowers to show up best. These ornamental trees are long-lived and relatively pest free.

Carefully site your plant for the prettiest results. Before planting, study the branching of your unique plant. Turn it this way and that to decide which direction you’ll face it so it will grow in your preferred direction. Thoughtful placement results in the best highlight for your yard.

Marley’s Pink Parasol trees are actually quite versatile and can be used in several garden applications. Grow them in the ground or try them in large decorative outdoor containers.

No matter where or how you use them, we know you’ll fall in love with these special trees. Lavish your attention on them and you’ll be rewarded in every season.

Fantastic spring blooms are followed by lush summer foliage which cascades down the weeping branches. The dark green leaves turn a brilliant lemon-yellow for a burst of fall color. The lovely form and smooth bark gives your eye something to study even through the barren winter season.

Give it a highly visible location, so no one will miss it!

Snap yours up without hesitation. You’ll always have room for a Marley’s Pink Parasol. Order today!

How to Use Marley’s Pink Parasol Japanese Snowbell in the Landscape

The weeping form of Marley's Pink Parasol Japanese Snowbell is a perfect accent to highlight your courtyard or entryway. It will stay small and is narrow enough to decorate a tight, sunny space.

Use them in containers, or plant them directly in the ground. Try flanking one on either side of your front door for outstanding curb appeal.

People will stop and stare as the spring breezes gently sway the arched branches dripping with the beautiful pink blooms. Delight your guests with the light, cotton candy fragrance.

Consider Marley’s Pink a living piece of sculpture. Use it as the focal point of a carefully planned Japanese Garden or Meditation Garden room.

Use it as a high profile specimen in a berm planting, or island garden bed. Use it in a rock garden, or behind a waterfall or water feature. No matter where you place it, be sure to light it with exterior night lighting. Celebrate it all day and night.

Thick, luxurious summer foliage can be allowed to drip to the ground and provide a strategic sense of privacy. Plant multiples in a curve behind your patio seating as a luscious flowering privacy screen.

Use several along the back of a garden bed. Asymmetrical branching ensures each tree has a distinct charm and character. They can be placed in loose, informal planting patterns.

Play with contrast by planting a few of these pretty, free form trees in a precise, formal row. The juxtaposition between form and position would be fascinating!

Try them as facing trees on the sunny side of larger evergreen trees and shrubs. You’ll appreciate how the gently downturned branches and fine-textured foliage softens stalwart Spruce or Yew, coordinates with pensive Pine, and helps tame shaggy Juniper.

Train your plant to have some character. Encourage main branches to grow into a beautifully asymmetrical form. Thoughtfully thin it out by removing extraneous branchlets back to the main branches. You’ll give the interior more sunlight and improve the air circulation as you add more sculptural interest.

Or… you can simply let it grow as it will. Either way, it will knock your socks off all through the year.

This long-lived tree makes such a special gift to celebrate a birth, graduation, marriage or major accomplishment. Use it to commemorate the passing of someone you love.

Host springtime parties when your trees are in bloom. Please consider including some comfy seating nearby and underplant with ground covers or spring flowering bulbs and perennials.

You’ll love making memories with the people you care about. These small trees make the perfect specimen to highlight an area that you use a lot.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Give Marley's Pink Parasol a sunny, protected site with moist, well drained soil that has good organic matter. It loves a layer of mulch over the root system.

It will grow and flower best in full sun, although the hottest climates may consider giving part shade in the afternoon. It will tolerate almost any soil, as long as it drains well. Raise up your containers on bricks to ensure rain water can flow out through the drain hole. Please don’t use saucers underneath exterior containers.

Give it a moderate amount of regular water. Container plants may need more watering and can be set up with automatic drip irrigation to keep it easier on yourself. Check below the surface of the soil to see if it's moist. You'll want to adjust the timing as needed for the best results.

Do any pruning that may need to be done after the bloom, if needed. Use a light hand and remember to study your tree before you tackle pruning. Better to create a pruning plan beforehand.

Deer seem to leave this plant alone. However, if you live in an area with high deer population, spray with a deer repellent on the first day you plant it. This will remind the deer they do not like it. Reapply as needed, following the directions on the can.

Don’t miss this opportunity to own this magnificent tree. Order today without delay if you see that we have it in stock. Sign up to receive notification for the next crop if we are currently out of stock. Enjoy Marley’s Pink Parasol Weeping Styrax Japanese Snowbell!

My Pink Snowbell Tree grow fast after less than a month of planting

Received the tree in great shape with leaves and flowering buds. After 3 weeks of planting, the tree is growing nicely, exceeding my expectation, and I hope to see flower blooming within a month. At first I was skeptical of buying tree on line, and after buying 2 of them from NatureHills, I still want to buy more ... except my front yard is running out of room. Best time to buy tree is when it is still in dormant state or just coming out of it, so when shipped, it won't damage tree as much and also is a good time for planting.

We’re absolutely delighted to hear your Pink Snowbell Tree is thriving and surpassing your expectations so quickly—that’s always such rewarding news. It’s great to know the tree arrived healthy with buds already in place, and your insight about the optimal planting time being when the tree is dormant or just breaking dormancy is invaluable for our fellow plant lovers considering their own orders.

Pink Japanese Weeping Snowbell

I placed my order when there were only 3 trees left. It is the correct #5 size container, 4-5 feet tall and it is beautifully shaped. The root ball was in a plastic bag with a draw string, then in a stronger bag with 2 handles to pick it up with and packaged in a manor that the packaged root ball could not move in the box. It was packaged so well it took me some time to remove it from the box. I recommend laying the box on it's long side to unbox it.

Dear Cindy,

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful and detailed review of your Pink Japanese Weeping Snowbell! We’re delighted to hear that your tree arrived exactly as expected and in such great shape. It’s wonderful to know the packaging kept the root ball secure and intact, and we appreciate your useful tip about laying the box on its long side for easier unboxing—future customers will surely find that advice helpful!
